Getting the hair ready for a touch up

If you blow your hair out (blow dry) before your touch up, can you see your new growth after it's straightened out? Or is it harder for you to see the line between the new growth and the previously relaxed hair?

Thanks in advance everyone

I usually blow dry my hair or do a roller wrap to get my hair straight so my stylist can recognize my new growth. It always works for me. I do this 4 to 7 days before my relaxer touch up.

When I get a touch up I rollerset three days before. This way my stylist is SURE to find my new growth. I'm sure you can see it if you blowdry too, but because the hair is naturally less taut at the roots when you rollerset the waves and curls have free reign - especially right before a touch up.
