Hey Lady! You're my hair twin. :p Are you ever going to even out your hair? I've been thinking about it. But I don't think I'll do it at least not anytime soon. It's kinda unique especially on black women. People always think I cut it like this but this is just how it grows. I think my kitchen is 3B so it grows faster.

It's also nice to run into another stay at home mom. :)

Hello :wave:

*BSc in Aero Eng, MSc in Mech Eng, Mech Eng P.E. License
Nice to meet you all :wave:

* Found LHCF in May 2007

* Joined in June 2007

* 30 years old. (I'm a grown a$$ woman.:lol: But i'm a kid at heart.)

* The majority of my hair is 3c, with a little 3b and some 4a thrown in for good measure.
* I'm relaxed but relaxers have never gotten my hair straight. Since finding LHCF i've started embracing my naturallly curly texture by wearing wash n go's. My hair's never looked so healthy since i abandoned my blowdryer and flat iron.
*Almost armpit length-- but that's only when it's straight. It looks not quite shoulder length due to shrinkage when it's curly.

* Hometown in Chi-Town, Illinois

* I teach and English as a Second language to adults and also teach a class preparing immigrants for the U.S. Citizenship exam.

* BA Elementary Education. Thinking about gradschool.

* In a relationship

Hey Mocha, we do have similar hair except mine is 4b, with some 4a around the edges. I do not plan on cutting it untli I get to BSL or maybe longer. I complain about how thin it looks but I love the way it looks when it is in a rollerset.

Yeah I have been home w/my girls for a good while, and will probably stay home until my youngest goes to Kindgergarden in Fall 2008. You have FIVE kids?!! Even though it ain't in style anymore...I want a big family too. My husband is pushing for a 3rd kid 'cause we have two girls...looking for that boy. :lol: Maybe after we fix up our place (we bought a fixer-upper)...maybe I'll try again...big maybe

Wouldnt join due to a fear of committment [and fear of digging into my wallet for that measly 5 bucks!]

Have been growing hair and, despite some minor setbacks [which didnt seem so minor at the time], hair is currently just reaching BSL!! YAYY! :grin:
