if you have that many pics...i would just pay the fee...or start another account with photobucket...is that a yearly or lifetime fee...30 bucks is kinda steep..

request more space each month and delete your original pics. You don't need them, you just want to have the ones that fotki has resized for you. Someone had a graphic on exactly where to go to do both I'll see if I can find it.
I have 130 mb of space and actually use less than 10%.

You're not reallly deleting your old pictures. Your deleting the original you uploaded and keep ing the resized fotki version.
Unless she'd like to keep the gigantic version she probably originally uploaded, then that's fine.
But deleting the original pic saves space right now since she can only request every 20 days.

did you follow the tutorial, because
If you look at one of your pics, most of the time underneath it will say something like get original here, and it will open another tab in your browser with your original sized picture. If you follow the tutorial, that should be the only pictures being deleted.
I've done it several times and never deleted any of my pics out of my albums.

as others have said "DELETE ORIGINALS". Its an actual option. its not the same as deleting regular pictures. also request space every 30 days. I have So much space and am not even close to using all my space. I made another album but i found it a hassle. i wouldnt pay because if and when i would want to stop paying they close your account and everything is gone.
also remember to back up your pictures on another device other than your computer. i lost alot of my old pictures after my computer crashed.

if you pay the fee. Just set a note on your calendar at outlook because it is an automatic annual renewal.
I just reached my limit on adding pics to my free fotki account. What have you ladies done when this has happened? Do you pay the 30 dollars or start removing some pics?

Along with the other sugguestions, another way to save space is to reduce the size of the pictures before you upload them to fotki.
After you've downloaded the pictures from your camera
Left click on the picture
Choose Open With then Click Paint
From the menu choose, Image then Stretch/Screw (Crtl+W)
In the Stretch horizontal and vertical enter 25 and press enter
Now, your picture should be reduced.
If the picture is too small after entering those numbers:
Edit then Undo (Crtl+Z).
Next, Image then Stretch/Screw (Crtl+W) then enter a higher number than 25.
If your picture need to be reduced a little more:
Image then Stretch/Screw (Crtl+W)
For the Stretch horizontal and Vertical enter in 90 or 95 percent.
