Forget weave checks, I've been hair molested. LOL!

My 16 year old great nephew grabbed and sniffed my hair several times this evening. He said he did it because I wasn't paying attention to him, so I turned to give him a hug and he kept stroking my hair. I must admit, it felt good to get this kind of attention for my hair. I don't see my family very often and when I do, my hair is usually in braids, twists, or buns so they don't get to see my actual length. Until LHFC, my hair never grew past neck length, so thank you ladies for all of your help.

Beautiful hair. I know the feeling, I hadn't seen one of my older cousins in probably 15yrs and he sat down beside me and just stroked my hair cuz he could, lol. I didnt mind, he was very gentle but I found it so funny.

When I saw the title of this thread I knew it was the result of a holiday family gathering. 'Tis the season for hair molestation! Beautiful hair newgrowth15.

napbella, thank you. It is amazing to me how comfortable some people feel with our hair. All of our hard work pays dividends.

Dayjoy, thank you. 'tis the season indeed. I do like it though. :lachen: By they way your bun in your avi is gorgeous.

Lol I enjoy it myself so I don't think you need Dr.Drews couch. Its nice when someone strokes your hair you can think of it as them appreciating all your hard work.

Aaaaw, that's sweet! My brother always rubs my hair, and it feels how I imagine a dog being pet would feel, lol! He's in his late 20's. I think it's 1/2 weave check 1/2 admiration, cause he says "Choo-Choo is this all your hair?" everytime. The first time he called me choo-choo, I said what the heck is a choo-choo??? He said Choo-Choo as in train tracks as in weave tracks, lol!
