Feelinit! Girl you took the words right out of my mouth!!! All I can say is WOW! I feel like I gotta go look at her hair AGAIN!

 wow it's so beautiful!!!! i forgot it was even POSSIBLE!!! u mostly see gorgeous hair like that on little kids nowadays.

I really hate to burst any bubbles, 'cause this thread is going rather well, but would I be Politically Incorrect if I pointed out the fact that 'ole girl is mixed w/ filipina and she's got type 2-3 hair?:sekret:

although I do think her hair is beautiful, I don't believe some of our non-2/3 type hair members would/should be deeply inspired by this album. We're talkin' genes folks. ;)

For instance folks who are growing out a twa aren't going to look like her in the next 2 years. Not saying their hair won't grow, but it ain't gonna look like that. :nono:

Sorry if this post is offensive to anyone.

On LHC she says her hair is 3a/b, just like a good number of women here.

It's not that we want our hair to look just like hers, it's that it's possible to grow hair to that length. Her hair isn't no type 2 and it's VERY coarse. I'd go further to say that she looks like a 3b/c to me... not even 3a.

So what if her curls are a little looser than many of the people here? She must've had a hell of a time growing all of that out anyway... whos says that curly heads have an easier time growing their hair out... especially curly heads with that degree of curl and coarseness? It's not automaitcally easy for her because her hair isn't AS nappy as some.

She deserves recongnition because she must be VERY diligent in her hair care habits. Why shouldn't the kinkiest 4b get inpriration from all of that?

I get that, cause her stuff is not so far off from mines (her curls are a teensie bit looser), all I'm sayin' is a good number of women here don't have her hair texture. I have been here long enough to see threads along the lines of:
"Why aren't there any type 4 FOTM?" or "Is there any one w/ type 4 hair that grew their hair to waist length?" for that question to be asked should tell you something.

Not to mention a while back I saw a poster saying she wanted to see some waistlength natural hair that wasn't from a type 3 or a mixed (biracial) person :ohwell:

That's all I'm sayin.

Heck, she's definitely an inspiration for me, and may very well be for the other posters in this thread, but then again she may just be a pretty head of hair to admire for others. ;)

Understood, but I was under the impression that most people base their inspiration on their own hair types, that's all Her hair isn't no type 2 and it's VERY coarse.I can't tell that her hair is very coarse, I would have to see it up close. I'd go further to say that she looks like a 3b/c to me... not even 3a. My siggy, tells ya'll that I am not good w/ hair typing, I apologize for the hair type error.

I never said she shouldn't get recognition, I truly believe she should Why shouldn't the kinkiest 4b get inpriration from all of that? refer to what I wrote to mermaid about the type 4 requests I've seen on this board

My sentiments are in blue

Yes she and her hair is beautifulll (that's with 3 L's). I have to agree with Koffie though. Where are the type 4a/b natural gurlz at with waist length hair???

I totally agree with you. Might as well get stoned together, haha.

In my opinion she is a 3c. Maybe I'm wrong.
Either way, it takes years to make your hair grow that long! Believe me! No matter what hair type you have, even stick straight hair takes years to grow to waist length and everyone needs a strict regimen to make that happen.
But I do agree - where are the 4a/b naturals with extra long hair? Personally, I get inspired by all types of hair if it's well taken care of.

And the above quote is coming from a type 4 person, not to mention another poster with type 4 hair agreed w/ me earlier. ;)

nobody said anything about looking like that in two years?? anyway i used to post on NC.com and on there she claimed to be a 3c so i'm running with that. i don't plan on having hair that long...my goal is closer to her 25 inches shots...but that doesnt mean she can't be an inspiration to all...and what does being mixed have to do with anything. im mixed too does that mean i cant post here? im not trying to debate/argue with you here so please dont get upset...your post just confused me is all

I agree with Koffie, but her hair is GAWGEOUS!!! You know, whenever I meet someone who is interested in going natural I really emphasize they should look at those with similar hair textures to theirs, but that's not excluding other hair textures either.
Also I don't think Koffie was trying to start a debate, just stating the facts- heck, I was going to post something similar, but Koffie worded it so eloquently :)
