how do you do it? whats your technique and what products do u use? does anyone here use a round brush with a blow drier?

This is what I do:

After washing, I towel dry my hair, put in a leave-in (salerm or lacio, lacio) and seal with olive oil. I let my hair airdry for 45 - 2hrs (depends if im in a hurry). I section my hair in 4 sections and blow dry using my Turbo 1500 watts blow dryer. I make sure the nozzle is facing down the hair shaft(im not sure how to explain it) and use my paddle brush to straighten. It takes ~ 15 -20 minutes to blow dry my hair. Once I'm done I spray with nairobi sheen/protect spray and flat iron. The result of my blow dry is in my avatar.

Sylver has a really great tutorial in her fotki for blowdrying with a comb attachment and then using the round brush. I am sure if you look up her profile you can find her fotki address. HTH:)

Well I'm a 4a texlaxed head and I blow dry my hair straight using a ceramic blow dryer (from Sally's) with a comb attachment. The key for me is to detangle my hair before blow drying.

I put Loreal Blow Straight on my hair first along with a Leave In Conditioner. I blow dry my hair if four sections starting at the top left, top right, back left, back right. I've found that if you blow dry the top of your hair first you can cut your blow dry time in half. For silky shaky hair, the less amount of product the better.

Then I usually use a serum for flat ironing and I get straight bouncy hair.

The key for me is to blow dry with care, distributing the heat down the hair shaft and blow dry your hair into the style you're going to flat iron it into. So blow down the hair shaft for shinier, sleeker hair.

i'm natural and i use a chi ionic dryer and a paddle brush. i section my hair in small sections and gently pull the paddle brush thru as i'm drying. i place the brush in at the roots and blow the air on it and it seems as though as its drying the brush kind of glides down the rest of my hair. i dont hold the heat on it but its hard to explain but i hope it helps. its easier to show i guess.:look:
