Ladies what type of brush do you use when blow drying your hair straight? I typically use a Denman flat brush but I also see people using a round brush!

Does one give better results?

Pictures of brush that you use..

I've never used a round brush because I find it too damaging on my hair. All that pulling and tugging. I want minimal manipulation during blowdrying and found that paddle brushes were ideal for this, but after viewing Reniece's tension method video, I want to try this Denman flat brush:

But I have used this before:

I use the red and white Denman. I tried Reniece's method too. It's really better than my previous results, but I'm hoping to improve because I have to take minuscule sections to do it right now.

I have also tried the Denman for straightening that has two plates of boar bristles that overlap and clamp down on your hair. I got about 4 inches worth of breakage as a result and chucked it right after.

Thanks ladies, I'm trying for straight results.. I'm 7 months post relax and I would like my roots not to be poofy and thick.

What is the Reniece method?
