Ok so I'm totally clueless on this flexi rod thing. Am I supposed to use them when my hair is still wet? If so what are the chances of my hair breaking from this. I just dont like to manipulate my hair too much when its weT and im afraid that this may do some damage. Also I tried to test on dry hair and i couldnt get the thing to bend right to hold it in place...i mean i coulda if i forced it but it was getting tight and i don't wanna break off all my hair, if I woulda tested on wet i probably woulda snapped a few strands. Last question...what can i use when wrapping so my ends dont get all dry? TIA:)

What size/color flexi rods do you have. I bought navy blue ones, which were the largest size and couldn't really bend them without forcing them. I returned them and got the purple ones which are smaller and they are really easy to bend.

I prefer the results of using the flexirods on dry hair. I usually apply some leave in and add some mango butter to the ends. To keep my hair from unravelling, I usually twist twice on the ends and then roll up. Hard to explain. I hope that helped. Do a search on flexirods, I remember someone had a tutorial on it. Good Luck!

That is how I do mine, except I do it on wet hair and I didn't have any problems w/breakage.
