Flat Irons

Ok so I know there's been a thread in the past about this, but the search function isn't working for me

I've been using my old crappy flat iron, and I admit, it does all the things that I've read its NOT supposed to do (aka smoke, no real temp control etc.)

So, any recommendations? Preferably a fully ceramic one. I've been looking a Chi's and Solias, but are there other ones that I haven't heard of yet that are recommended by you guys? No maxiglides though I've heard all sorts of horror stories on that one
