LOVELY, GIRL! HOLLA on how you did them and what you used...I am going to attempt some next week-

I separated my hair into four afro puffs. Here's all what I used

...if it doesn't show Products

First I rubbed a bit of shea butter and my hair grease concoction (the hemp and relaxed & natural moisturizer) together in my hand and then through my hair. Then I used my gangsta comb ( the big black one) after I realized trying to do it with the rat tail was a bit much and took too long. I could comb through the entire section with the black comb. I parted rows with the end of the rat tail and then parted sections for each twist with my index finger. It took me a moment, because my arms were getting tired :grin:I stopped to eat and had to decide that I was actually going to finish.

HTH! I will do them again that's for sure. I like that i don't have to do anything to it for a few days afterwards if i so choose.

Good job. I had my first two sets done by a braider but tired of her lackadsical shop hours, decided to do my own and I'm quite good at it now-parts not as straight arrow{no need now as my now post BC hair grows so fast} as she did but still good......money saved. I take a look in the mirror then divide and twist areas again which look a bit sparse -usually the back. A leisurely 'sit on the deck with hair gel and some lemonaide do it Sunday' is all it takes.

Yes it is definitely a weekend thing to do. For me now anyway.
