Finally took my TWO FACE hair photo

I trimmed in July (filmed it:YouTube - Trimming my own hair). I have no split ends at this point. I will not be trimming simply for the look of blunt ends, especially when my hair is curly almost 99% of the time.




Yeah, it took 4.5 hours total but that did include a 1 hour pre poo treatment prior to detangling.

To the bold bit: Very smart.

Oh okay you include wash time and everything, I was picturing 4.5 hours just for the straightening, i was shocked! lol

That flat ironing usually takes about 1 hour, but since I did the two face photo (blowout & flat iron each side separately) it took 53 minutes for side 1 and 63 minutes for side 2, basically 2 hours for the blow out & flat iron.

It might have been faster if I used a comb/brush to do the blow out. I used only the tension method with my hands.

Totally agree. I don't want blunt ends either for the same reason. I think it's a silly reason to lose length (if you're not going for the blunt cut).

Agreed. If length is not your goal, you wear your hair straight and wand clean looking ends I can understand cutting when your hair is split-free.
But for me, with length goals and healthy ends, there's no need to trim.

hey whimsy.

To the question. i just see alot of gaps and uneveness. gaps make the ends look unhealthy IMO. even if your not wearing your hair straight all the time your hair would still look alot neater with a trim while in its natural state also. i was natural for most of my life so i know a little trim make the hair look fly.

not that your hair dont look fly already... im just saying it could look REALLY fly.
