i know some of you already love the FHI and i do too. this is a product rave for my mom though.
my moms hair is the coarsest(sp?) hair in the whole world. i usually press her hair with a straightening comb every sunday and by thursday her hair is a poofy mess. keep in mind that she iss relaxed
. the relaxer does nothing for her hair. i guess her hair is really resistant. i never thought to use a flat iron on her hair because her hair is thick thick thick.
well she asked me to do her hair with my FHI because she saw how my hair looked so i did it. she used salerm 21 on her wet hair and blow dried it. a couple hours later is when i flat ironed it. i didnt think to take pics becuase her hair always looks nice when its first done. its three days later thats the test. so that next weekend i saw her it was still shiny (i have her moisturizing with keracare cream hairdress and sealing with coconut oil) and i could run my fingers through her roots.
i didnt think to make this thread until another post reminded me. but alot of you are thinking of getting flat irons for this holiday. im telling you if you are natural the FHI will do it. i am relaxed and fine and the FHI works for me. my hair type is about a 3b/c. im sure my mom is a 4zzzzzzzzzz. she will relax her hair and a week later the roots are rediculous, i just dont get it.
anyway the model flat iron i have is a platform i think. its one inch.
