flatiron battle: GHD vs. FHI: who wins?

i flat-ironed my hair this weekend. used serums, did tiny sections: and my roots immediately reverted as soon as i walked outside (it was raining). so i am now on the market for a really good iron!

i did a google search for the Fhi Runway, and read that the GHD iron is a comparable alternative.

has anyone used both?
does the GHD do just as good a job as the FHI?

I have had alot of flat irons and I have never been able to straigthen my hair. Then my new stylist had a GHD and got my hair pin straight in on pass wit ha GHD. I bought one. Now I to can straighten (btw she is a naturalstylist).
