My mom has a super loose type 2/3 texture, so my type 4? (I honestly don't know) tripped her up a bit. My father also has a type 2/3 texture. Hmmmmmm, genetics is pretty crazy lol

Compared to both my nanas, genetics played a horrible trick on me :nono: no worries though, I got their growth genes. That's a continued hit every month!

@EnExitStageLeft

It almost reminds you of Castor Oil (maybe a little 'thinner). A little goes a long way. :look:

It's an Oil that to me smells like some kind of Ointment, like Ben Gay or Icy Hot. :blush:

Some folks said it smells like Pepto Bismol to them.

Folks have said it made their hair feel sticky. Maybe because of the Glycerin?

It feels fine to me. No issues.:yep:

Miss: Ecostyler argan oil maybe I was using too much I am heavy handed but it was so hard washing it out and even though I layered evoo on top it still left my hair hard.

Possible Miss: I have sampled several QB prods multiple times but none seem to work great for my hair. I'll keep trying as they work so great for most.

divachyk I had to play around with qb too. I tried applying on wet hair and dry hair. I found that the problem was the leave in that I was using before I applied the aohc. Once I switched my leave in life changed lol

This is how I inherited my QB Stash from Chebaby.:look:

She kept buyin' & tryin' and I kept waiting for her to decide it doesn't really work for her.:lol:

So, I ended up with this Huge QB Stash:lol:.

Miss: Hot Oil Treatments

What the hell is this oil doing besides sitting on my puffy natural hair? I haven't noticed any difference in softness, moisture, etc.

Hit: Needing a shopping bag for my DCs on my head instead of a plastic cap
That means I'm retaining some crazy length what WHAT! Lol...

@divachyk

Yep. I waited for her to buy it and then she always hated it.

That's how I ended up with a QB Stash.:look:

Otherwise, I may have never tried/bought it.

I did like the Karkady Hair Tea (discontinued) I got on a swap and I also got the Moringa DC'er on a Swap (from different posters) which I also liked.:lol:

So that has been my experience with QB.

I like the size, the under chin strap that keeps it in place and it does not move or shift, the way the air is evenly dispersed, how the air stays contained within the bonnet, and I like how mobile I can be using it because I just grab my blow dryer and plug it somewhere else. I must note: I do as instructed and use it on low speed only. I use my blow dryer's cool setting for the most part, but have used the warm setting for a few minutes too. I have never used my blow dryer's hot setting with it.
