I think the directions could have been more clear, especially when it came to describing how much of the rinse to use. I kinda just improvised and made sure that all parts of my hair were coated with the rinse. I didn't saturate it. IDK, maybe someone else can explain how they do it?prettyinpurple said:So are the directions pretty clear on the bottle? How did you know how much to use on your hair or did you just saturate it? How many uses do you think you'll get out of the bottle??
TIA

I saw this and wondered about it. I went with Jazzing first.
Another question: Do you all bother to try to keep the rinse off your scalp?
I have alway used JAzzing clear rinses....but i am looking to try sebastians. Here is my low down:
1. Colored rinses and Clear rinses are the same, it coats your strands with product...except the clear has no color to it.
2. You can definetly use the clear righ after you relaxer....the same day.
3. with colored rinses, you want to keep it off your scalp so that it does not get staind.....with clear rinses its ok it it touches your scalp.
4. Use as much product as you need to coat your hair well, apply a plastci cap and sit under heat. YOu dont have to use heat, but I do.
5. You can use it as often as you like! I know people who get their hair rinsed black everyweek, no problems...rinses are pretty safe, no amonia or peroxide.
6. rinses are great for sealing and smoothing your hair. I have seen where people used them on hair weaves to get the "shine" back
7. I would use a rinse right before a relaxer, the relaxer will just stip it away
IMO Rinses are Harmless, unless you are allergic to them!

Me! I love it...I've only used the red though. The shine is incredible plus I don't have to wait 15-20mins to rinse it out like you do w/ traditional rinses.
