.... your track is showing.
Okay. So, I'm in the post office this morning, eyeballing heads as I always do when I'm in a line. The lady in front of me had a cute red color in her hair, and I was eyeing it, trying to figure out if it was hers, or a weave. Then, she turns to walk to the counter, and I see a whole track, just waving hi to the world, exposed by how her curls were arranged in the back.
That got me to wondering..... is it ever okay to tell someone - esp. a stranger - that their tracks are showing? I mean, is that sisterly courtesy like letting someone know a button on their shirt is unbuttoned, or their slip is hanging? Or do you just keep your mouth shut, and hope she feels the cool breeze brushing against her scalp eventually?
