Can someone please tell me the benefits of using EVOO instead of Olive Oil? What's the difference?

I forgot put I remeber it may be Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I odn't know the differnece.

To put it simply, less processing. If you get extra-virgin olive oil, you can expect minimal processing and most times, virtually no heat. Most times, with few exceptions, that's exactly what you want with all of your oils.

I would refer you to the Olive Oil Council for further details and there is a wonderful book on the Miracle of Olive Oil...available at most healthfood stores in the book section.

Extra virgin olive oil is especially beneficial to hair because of the high Omega 9 content. Same thing with skin.

Thanks jade21 for explaining the concepts. As you know clearly I didn't know at the time. I now know it now. Thank You.

Thanks a lot! I just want to know what I'm putting in my hair and why!!!

Always remember, processing or heating decreases the natural nutritional value of plant based foods and products.
The amount of destruction is relative to the amount of heat or processing applied. The more heat or processing used the greater the loss.

Newbie in the mix.
