Her whole look confused me. I am use to her looking all flashy and glamorous from 227 (showing my age). Now she is in some jeans and a tight sweater with occasional sneak peaks of her belly. I was a little surprised :look: .
 
I was offended by the way they described the darker skinned lady's hair.
He looked a hot mess.
Why they put the dudes from the Temptations and EWF on the show is beyond me. If you use his product you will have "naturally curly hair"....huh?
 
I will file this under "How Not To Successfully Launch A Product Line"

If you do what he says it will not keep him in business, not sure what it will do for you though.

I wish people would stop perpetrating with the weaves when presenting product lines for hair care.

Yep...This informercial reminded me of Rio. I'm sure there will be a lot of bald headed folks walking around after using his products :ohwell:
 
I went back and watched both videos and can't stop shaking my head. Most of the hair models/celebrities looked like they were obviously wearing weaves that were plastered to their head ala Morticia Addams.

And, yeah, the woman talking about Jewish hair:lachen::lachen::lachen:
 
This thread made me go back and watch the rest of that trainwreck "reality" show (I originally stopped watching after the second episode). He can't really think that show was good for business. Ironically the one who seemed to do hair best (Katrina) had the fewest customers.

Evaluate the hair for it's texture, 3 days before.

:look: sounds good how about evaluating it to see if it is damaged and can endure this process or if it has to be built up before hand.

His hair does look a hot mess I was hoping you ladies were wrong but I was like ewwww CHewed up hair. He needs to be strapped down and Deep conditioned and treated.

Of course he says that. He's a professional stylist. That's more money in their pocket. I would imagine a relaxer from him would be $100 or more. Money hungry. We've all seen this before.
 
That man is a horribly overrated stylist.

He must be good at weaves or something cause his "work" on his reality show (in addition to his other stylists) were awful. No way would I go to or recommend him to anyone.
 
Why did I think this thread was about the R&B singer Ginuwine...lol I didn't even look at the video, I just saw the name Elgin and thought of him. I was like, Ginuwine coming out with hair products? lol... I need a nap...
 
All around hot mess from Elgin shaking that to' up head to Jackee and her mom jeans and I am mad at Shawn for that wig. The Black models' real hair looked just as thin and chewed up as Dodson Sr.'s. I would run like hell from him, his horrible hair advice, salon and products. Fail.
 
I was so repulsed by this video.:pyro: It cured me of my desire to relax. Personally, he looks so shady, I'd never trust him to style my hair.:nono2::nono:
 
I have had a such a bad day but you women on here are some damn fools with these gifs and the responses love it! I just love this forum thanks you guys for making my day turn into a good day :lachen:.
