Has anyone used this? How well does it work on newgrowth? Is it easier to get to the newgrowth than with a flat iron?

I threw mine away when I discovered LHCF. Besides my blowdryer, it was contributing to hair breakage and damage for me.

I love mine! I've tried 4 different flat irons hated 'em all then went back to my faithful electric hot comb. But I don't use it on my length just on NG after a rollerset.

I used one on my daughter for a few years. It does get the hair straight. I prefer the flatiron though, it just seems to do a quicker job.

As I am transitioning, I use it occasionally on new growth only. But if I were relaxed thoughout, I would stick to flat iron mainly. The hot comb IMO get the new growth much straighter as its teeth get through to the individual strands more than with a flat iron.

Occasional is the key!

thanks ladies... I have such a problem getting to my newgrowth with my flatiron.. My CHI is pretty much just used as a curling iron because its does nothing for straightening my newgrowth.. I hope it won't cause too much damage since I just plan on using it on my newgrowth.

Thanks for posthing this thread. I wondered about it too when I saw it at Sally's. Ill stick to monthly roller set/flat iron routine.

OT:Melodee, you make me want a strawberry daquiri and a plane ticket!!!
Go on girl!
