Elasta QP INTENSE reminds me of Lacio Lacio

I bought some today and plan on using it this friday as a leave-in.. I had to see what it smells like and I like it. It reminds me of baby food pinapple banana:lick:
I want to also try it as a moisturizer to mixed with some of my fav oils/butters and apply as a hairdress

will report back soon:grin:

Now I gotta say I'm sold on this product too, wish I'd have seen this post sooner, for I would have gotten it yesterday while I was already at WalMart and several BSS, they were stocked FULL of those Intense ones. Was majorly looking in all the stores and BSS in the area for some Elasta QP Mango Butter or DPR, but none of the stores had 'em. I guess some of you LHCFers done come down to my area and made 'em sell out, huh?:lachen: LOL!!!!

Well i tried it as a leave-in and i gotta tell ya I love it:drunk:
I think I might like it better then Lacio and Im a hard core Lacio fan:blush:
I also tried it as a moisturizer with some oil in my hand and used it as a hairdress and loved it. I guess I wont be buying Giovanni Direct anymore either cuz I used that as a moisturizer too.
This is staple material right here:yep:

this product was really blah for me. didn't do a thing. as a pre-poo, i think cream of nature nourishing conditioner leaves my hair softer. co-washes? CON. and as a leave in? made my hair smell like a crusty banana. i'll stick with CON.

but i'm glad you guys have found something that works for you!

WOAH, nevermind!

i have a bottle of this sitting on my window sill; never thought to use it on dry hair as a moisturizer! this stuff is great (except for the banana smell)

Someone must have been reading my mind. I tried a touch of this as a leave in last week when I flat wrapped. I can't wait to try it again when I rollerset.

I have to say I've been impressed by everything I've used from Elasta QP. I will definitely be picking this up on my next trip to the BSS.

I guess I'm gonna have to go buy some of this now. I love their Recovery Moisturizer.....so I know I'll love this. Plus you ladies have me sold. :)

Elasta QP Intense is currently one of my staples. As compared to other products containing silk protein it contains a higher percentage, and my hair loves silk protein.

Everyone seems to be giving great reviews here! And I'm already a fan of elasta QP mango butter. So I think I will go pick this up today!

So instead of using this as a conditioner, you all are just rubbing it through your strands as a moisturizer? And this is okay? I thought you weren't supposed to leave condish on your hair. How exactly is the best way to do this?Well either way, I love Elasta QP so I wanna try this asap.

Daaaang! Seem like I'm o be buyin sum a dis EQP intense as I love love love lacio lacio. And just when I thought the PJ in me was dying, someone come right back up in here and resurrect it:grin:. Thanks for the post though.

yup! conditioner isn't like shampoo; where you have to get it all out of your hair, so it's not a bad idea to use a little bit on dry hair as a moisturizer, or even a little bit after washing as a leave-in.

this stuff works best for me on dry hair, so i take about a nickel-sized amount, rub it btw my hands, and run it gently through my hair.

What!?!...are you serious! I didn't think anything could replace Lacio Lacio...I have to try this when I finish up Lacio:grin:.

I tried a little in my rollerset last week, and I liked it. I'mma try it again with my air-dried hair. It was only $2.99 at the local BSS, instead of $9.99 for Lacio.

I know right I thought I would never say that but considering its only $3 versus $8+s/h got me right there.
It actualy has way yummier(is that a word) ingredients then Lacio and the longer my hair gets the more Lacio I use but with Intense i only need alittle bit plus I like it as a moisturizer too.
It gave my roller set the same feel as Lacio the lightweight, bounce, and silkiness.
