I have run out of protien conditioner and want to wash my hair today, is it ok to use eggs, I'm not sure if it actually penetrates the hair shaft or just sits on top?

Also if it does work what part should I use?

Thanks

From my understanding and another post... I think you get the most benefits from raw eggs if you ingest them.

If I recall, it was the "Drink you way to waistlength" ....

I left my protein conditioner when I travelled so I've been DC-ing with and egg beat into my moisture condish (becomes like batter) I put it on with a plastic bag for 30 mins rinse then apply just the moisture condish till I have a bath then rinse out.

Brilliant makes my curls pop, washed my hair yesterday and airdried I still don't need any leave ins my hair's so soft.

This sounds like an interesting method. I've never heard of using it this way before.

Are you natural or relaxed?

When I do my egg treatment, I always mix with with avocado and coconut milk leave in on for 1hr with plastic cap and rinse, I love the result.

Thanks, this sounds good. I tried it and only left it on for 20 mins for a light protien condition. It came out ok. I may do it again

When i do my egg treatment, i always mix with some kind of conditioner and i don't leave it in past 10 or 15 mins. Otherwise, my hair will be hard as a brick!

I've dumped the Aphrogee protein treatment and I love using a raw egg mixed w/ a moisturizing condish for my protein treatments. My hair definately feels stronger afterwards :yep:
