I just made this, it was easy--just used a lipton soup packet and added 2 slightly beaten eggs. It's about 15g of protein and all the hair health benefits of eggs.

/images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif sounds yummy /images/graemlins/lick.gif

Disclaimer: this is not for people with a history of hypertension/ cholesterol problems.

What a great idea...and it sounds tasty /images/graemlins/lick.gif...thanks, bajan!

Thanks, Bajan, I need an egg alternative right about now!

Is the egg cooked or raw? Sorry if I should know this but I dont. If you are taking biotin, raw egg whites supposedly kills it.

/images/graemlins/lick.gif This works with an all-vegetable soup packet or boullion cube also. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

what about those faske eggs that you get at the supermarket--i forgot what they are called--it's egg substitute & looks just like egg but comes in like a milk carton type pkg.

no, the egg is cooked. it is stirred into the soup at the last minute. i did not know that the biotin is gone, but that's ok bc I take 10mg of biotin. but i'm sure that there are other nutrients preserved: l-cysteine. the eggs i am using now has 8g of protein each, i use 2 eggs.

as for the cholesterol, i have never had a problem with this but: i eat oatmeal regularly, i don't have eggs or egg drop soup everyday. i guess i believe when it comes to food--moderation & balance.
