Dyeing a fall (instant weave) or weave

Hey ladies. I've decided to start wearing a fall again so that I can give my hair a break. The one I bought is a 2 (dark brown), but my real hair is even darker brown. I am thinking of dyeing it the color of my real hair using some of the Sebastians Colourshine that I have. The only problem is that I am also waiting on getting some henna and indigo in the mail. Should I wait to henna the hair piece when I henna and indigo my hair or do you think that putting a rinse in will be good enough? I'm also nervous about the color running if I put a rinse in, although that hasn't been too much of a problem unless I was actually washing my hair. Thanks ladies!

Has anyone done this? Good results?

I've been meaning to ask that question. Thanks for starting the thread Imani97!

ETA: I didn't want to start another "henna" thread.

Well, I'm glad that someone else in interested in this. I'll probably end up doing both eventually, but I can't wait for my henna. I can't keep walking around lookin' two-toned. I will update though if no one chimes in before I do it.

:bump:

It's been more than a year, and I still have the same question.

I want to get one for the Fall/Winter. I like a few styles, but I don't know what color to get.

#33-Dark Auburn looks like it'll match my hair color indoors and outdoors, I think...or what about T1B/33? Or should I dye it a certain color?

I'll wait...Someone's bound to know.

...ok, I'm good. :eat: :drink:

ETA: Worst case scenario--I'll get a #1B/2 half wig in a straight style and waste good henna on it. :ohwell:

Yeah, I'm sorry. I have no idea. I haven't been wearing wigs/weaves and always have to ask people what color I should get. Hope you find an answer. By the way, the henna did not work for the hair that I had. It's better just to get the correct hair color I think.

I've never used henna on a fall. However, I used to put rinses on my falls to match the rinse that was in my hair (usually a bright red color or chestnut). My falls were human hair. I tried to dye synthetic hair pieces but it never worked.

My natural hair color is , as my dad calls it, "dookie brown" and there is some sandy brownish-blondish colors mixed in there too. I usually buy #4 hair pieces.
