Are you using this treatment all over your head or just on your weakened areas of your hair? I purchased this treatment back in September at the advice of my former hair stylist when I went back home for a relaxer. She told me that a very small area of my hair at the back left side was thinning a little and it would benefit from the treatment. From reading here I gather you don't need this often and I am doing my second treatment today to the tune of 13 weeks apart.

My current stylist freaked out at my last relaxer when she heard I was using the product and warned me not to overdo( I know this well from reading this board which is why I have it spaced out to 13 weeks apart) She asked me if I used it all over and I said yes. Again she freaked out and said just use it on the weak area. Personally I don't see a reason not to use it all over my head when doing the treatment. Why not be proactive and continue to keep all of my hair strong? I take very good care of my hear with no direct heat, curling irons, regualr deep conditions etc. The only thing missing from my routine is a good spaced out protein treatment.

I use it all over my hair - every strand is covered and my hair is doing great. I use it either a week before or a week after my relaxer which is anywhere between 10-14 weeks. It's not like you are using it every 2-4 weeks. You are far beyond the safe range of using it all over your hair and the safe range is actually once every 6-8 weeks.

All you need to do is use exactly as described on the bottle and follow it up with a super moisturizing deep conditioner for 25-30 minutes. I absolutley love this treatment - it is one of my staple conditioners. I hope I will never be without it.

^^^ I agree with Aggie, I use it all over every strand. Before my relaxer and after. I also use it according to the bottle.

I love this product. Just follow it up with a Great DC You should be good.

Thanks ladies. My hair came out great today. Made sure to follow up with a deep conditioner under the dryer and my normal roller set.
