DOING OVERTIME ON THE BOARD

I was on the board this past weekend reading new posts, old threads, sending posts, and having a good time when I looked up at the clock and noticed I had been on the board for 3.5 hours

So I wanted to know what's the longest amount of time you ladies have spent on the hair board?

Girl i was up here the other night (well morning lol) from about 5am to 11am!!! And i had only gotten 3hrs of sleep the previous night! My sister already asks me if i'm on my "freaky hair website." lol I'm trying to tell ya'll i'm obsessed with hair, and this board ain't makin it no dn better, lol. This is just unnatural......

I know sometimes you get caught up reading old posts, posting, stalking fotkis taking notes (literally) shoot! before you know it, look up and 3-4 hrs have gone by and what do I do. Keep (glass of wine and all) Sad I tell ya Just Sad. But at least I have healthy hair now so I'll take the trade-off, a few hours sleep erplexed

There are times when I can spend the whole day on a board. I start in the morning, then the next thing you know its dark outside.

I don't usually spend a straight amount of time on here. I come on and off all day. Really All Day! That kind of time adds up too.

And I get sucked into fotki a lot because I'm always leaving comments and guest book messages. Some of my buddies have commented that they always see my avatar because I'm on top of making my rounds over there and seeking help especially since I started this transition.

I used to spend more time when I 1st joined because there was just so much info.

Now I will log in several times a day and spend a few min each time if I just look at the hair care section.

If I am in the Off Topic, Fitness and skin care sections, I can spend WAY MORE time. So I try to only get caught up in there when I am not at work.

One day I didn't eat breakfast. I got on the forum about the afternoon time. I didn't eat lunch, I also missed dinner and was still on the board really late. I think I did try to snack on something though. So all together I believe I spent half a day (12 hours) or more on the forum before. Now, I try to manage my time on the forum wisely because I don't want to neglect other important things like I have before.

When I first found LHCF I would spend HOURS on the board. I looked through just about EVERY thread that I was interested in. Now I don't spend as much time but I am on pretty much everyday throughout the week and more sparingly on the weekends.

When I first joined, I only looked at the Haircare Section of the site. I was hardly on the boards at all ... maybe less than 20 minutes. Now that I've ventured off into the Off Topic, Entertainment, etc. boards, I'm spending way more time than I should. I've been known to log 5 hours or more now.

I am spending all day /all night on here but sometimes it depends on the speed of my pc.

Well I'm glad I'm in good company and I'm not the only one here for hours. There is just so much good information up in here. And to top it off some of the posts are just so funny and entertaining. My DH is like, what are you laughing about all by yourself?

I just graduated with a masters degree and I'm in the process of looking for a job. So I have a LOT of free time on my hands! I love to read and I have spent huge amounts of time on here! It's crazy. I'm not even that much into TV, but I will stay on the Internet for a minute.

I've been trying to wean myself off the boards. I only allow myself to make brief check ins on the weekends so I can go out and have a life. I feel silly because I talk about the hair board as if it is a person. It usually ends up in my conversations.

Since Im a Newbie to this forum, I spend the majority of my time reading out post and checking out Fotki's. So, its nothing for for me to spend literally hours on here without even noticing. I've almost completely abandond my old hair boards!!!

I like to browse the forums when I am working and then when I am off, especially if there's an interesting thread I wanted to catch up on, so for me it can be most of the day and even at night, too!! lol

Well... I've been on this board for the last few days NON STOP.

But it waxes and wanes. Cuz I think I was gone for about a month before that, and then before that I was in Aruba for a few weeks.

It's weird.

I'm in "Not doing anything" mode right now. Which means lots and lots of online time.

b4 i became an official member i would spend half the day reading and writing notes on a pad. Now tha i am a member I come on here when i wonder about hair or when im free at work. soooo that totals to about 1 to 2 hours a day. i mean if reading info helps ur hair become healthy and grow into something that u never thought possible...... why not?

Two weekends ago I spent 8 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday...and I wonder why I can never get anything done...

I definitely have a problem. Between this board, and NP I literally spend hours upon hours reading, checking out fotkis, writing down tips. I know I should be doing laundry, cooking, reading, etc. My husband & sister both think I am sick. I think they are right.
