Okay does this chick actually have some issues? I mean how immature is that shyte. I cannot believe someone would actually say that. YOURE kidding right. Someone actually had the nerve to take the time out of their just to say some mess like that oh you are a very nice lady That was wrong immature and very prickish. This was just a co-worker and not a friend a friend would never even think to say such a thing like that. She stupid.

I had a friend/coworker who is always bragging on her hair...one day she walked by me me and was just flapping her hair everywhere in a showoff kind of way..then she was like "jealous?" I was like "no..If I wanted long hair I would grow my mines"... her response was "It wont grow!!"

One year I had seen my friend and her mother after not seeing them for that whole year, Man their hair took off like weeds, they had gotten a Jerri Curl, and mine was still the same as the previous year (constant relaxer set backs). Yes they and the whole fam damily took that opportunity to say my hair didn't grow

I was like sad:

yeah but they had to keep putting curl juice in their hair and that is why it grew. Constant moisture and glicerin in their hair.

Yuck. I always hated the smell of curl juice. Dripping on the back of seats on the train or bus. And people leaning their heads up against the window and all you see is a mass webb of grease. Nasty and all the Jheri curls looked the same. And the worst one I saw was a couple of men with bald heads on the top but with long jheri curl pony tails.

Now that the curl is passe I wonder how their hair looks now

I am sure they are not and I am so sure that their hair is not nearly as long as yours now. Cause let me see before they got the curl was their hair long??

[/QUOTE]before they got the curl my hair was longer than theirs then 'blam' their hair outgrew mine and they LOVED that ish and went on and on about it too.

it was sooo many years ago though, I am not in touch with them now, I did see her years later, when I was just newly natural and she had a very very short cut and my hair was just growing and I only wore it up due to transitioning so she really didnt get to see it /it was probably only shoulder length or something close to that at the time
