No, I like my NG a lot. It gives me lots of volume and I like playing in it. I hate how my hair feels just after a relaxer. It doesn't have the volume I like. I like when I'm about two months post relaxer. That's when I like my hair the most.

I love me some NG! It lets me know my hair is growing. And since I've joined the "Hide Your Hair Challenge" I usually have it in a protective bun or phony pony, slicked down with some water and honey and then tied up tight overnight.

I voted no. I use to but I learned to love my natural hair. No matter if everyone tries to convince me that it is time to perm.

I voted sometimes. I do love my new growth especially when it's a month into post relaxer touchup and I can style my hair better than a fresh perm -- I find that my newly relaxed hair is so limp and to soft to hold a curl or style. The problem comes when I'm about 6 - 8 weeks and those kinks get to kickin like a mule -- won't stay put for nuthin! :lachen: I am learning to work with my ng a lot better now since joining this forum. Weaves help a lot too!

No, never bothers me. It means that my hair is growing and I'm getting closer to achieving my hair growth goals.

I like it...because I know my hair is growing.

But I also don't like it because...I can't comb through it, and it's much harder to manage than my texlaxed hair.

If I see new growth at least I know i did SOMETHING right loool! It's a pretty texture, and it makes me feel great. It gives me something new to play in, and as you all know, I'm a big kid!:lachen:

No I love it I got a mini afro at 4months post and I just love to run my fingrs thru it all.I just remember to apply oil and moisturisers regularly and just love it.

Before finding this board...YES..I hated ng..Now..I absolutley love it...I'm one week post and I'm waiting for my ng to appear in another week or two!!

I voted no, because overall the only part I cannot deal with is the sides. Once I find I way to wear them when I feel the need to flat iron for special events I will be fine.

I voted no. For the most part my new growth doesn't bother me, I am actually addicted to touching it. I just get a little anxious about seeing my actual length that the shrinkage of the ng takes away.

Sometimes. I like my NG cause I know my hair is growing and I also like playing with the little curls.

I dislike when it time to detangle, and I hate when Im looking like a helmet head, cause my NG don't won't to lay down flat.

Same here.
I generally don't like it because of how poofy it makes my hair. yuck

I can't wait to see my new growth onceI texlax. :) And have at times felt bad about texlaxing becuase I sometimes felt like I had to "start" all over again...

I like how my new growth looks so no it doesn't bother me at all. It's just hard to deal with when it comes to detangling. I don't like my hair combed by the way, hence the dread of combing my new growth after about 6 weeks post relaxer. I believe that's why I get it braided up so often. Other than that, no bother. I don't care what people think about my lack of relaxing it either. That's their hang-up, not mine.
