Mine doesnt, never has, I just dont try to do 'freshly relaxed styles' and I'm cool. I dont manipulate it much either so its not hard to deal with. What about you?

About a week or two after I get a relaxer, I am eager to see newgrowth. It bothers me when I don’t see it fast enough. But, then when it kicks in, it bothers me that my hair is not as easy to style or that my styles don’t last as long. We have a love/hate relationship. :)

I agree! I just work with my hair where it's at. I actually like my new growth because it adds wonderful volume to my curlier styles.

I just love to play with it. It let me know that my struggle is not in vain!

When I see that new growth I see it as hair growing!! So yea I love to see it and yea it can bug me with certain styles. I answered this question with "sometimes". However, with my regimen now, it isn't a problem since I were it in protective styles. The more the merrier now!

I love my new growth!! I love to play in its kinkiness and sometime I imagine that my hair is that texture from root to tip...

As long as I dont try to do "freshly relaxed" things like obsessing over my edges on making them slick down, then me and my new growth get along very well.

I only wear one style so its not a big deal for styling options. It does get harder to comb at times especially when its time for a relaxer.

Nope, it doesnt really bother me..... there's no difference in styling it and stuff, and its no more difficult to deal with.

When i have a LOT of new growth, the only reason why i might find it somewhat "bothersome" is because im anxious to see how much its grown...... and i know that i'll get to see the truth length once its freshly relaxed. So thats kinda cool, you know.....

I voted sometimes, only because I wasn't using the right products to keep my new growth soft, but since I got my hands on the ORS Replenishing Pak's and UBH creme moisturizer, I can finally strecth my relaxers past 6-8 weeks.:)

only on my sides.. I can never get the flat iron to get them straight enough to match the rest of my hair.. which is gonna be hard for me cuz Im going 12 weeks this go round :)

THE SHRINKAGE DOES! ITS SO DECIEVING!!!!

Without new growth I could never reach my ultimate goal of mid-back :)

I also like to play in it. I have hand in new growth disease. Partly because I never stretched this long and Im not used to feeling the natural texture of my hair. Suprisingly, I like how it feels, and it lets me know that my hair is growing

After my last relaxer I could not way for my new growth to surface again. Now I am 12 weeks post with 2 months to go and I am absolutely loving my new growth

I voted no..... It would have been yes a couple of months ago new growth was terrible..
Now since the addition of NTM,MSM and flaxseed oil the new growth thing is a breeze!!!
:D :D :D :D I am seven weeks post relaxer and I am not even breaking a Sweat and I can even comb the ng dry...!!!

My new growth doesn't bother me, at all! As a matter of fact, I'm falling in love w/ it more and more.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my five inches of new growth..it symbolizes so much in my life!! It what I love most about my hair...my literal nappy roots!!

:dance7:
I cant wait to get rid of these permed ends! Did I mention that I LOVE my new growth?

Before I go on I should add that I don't have a complex with my natural hair. Since I am wearing it mostly straight I find that it does affect me because it makes my roots look puffy after a month and I know that the general public probably thinks that my hair is a weave because of the thick roots. It also bothers me because it means that I'll have to touch up again and I can get lazy when it comes to relaxers.

No it doesn't bother me at all, I just do styles that compliment the NG, I don't even flat iron my roots when I get mega NG, after a rollerset I just finger comb and go, while enjoying Big Hair lol. I was just counting my wks of post relaxer when I picked up my ticket for a gathering I'm attending at the end of the month, hoping to have enough for a look of a thick lush rollerset,, to go along w/the dress I want to wear.
Plus NG ='s growth.

Nope doesn't bother me thanks to MSM Powder. I can't believe how soft my new growth is and also I use the Alter Ego conditioner which really makes your hair soft.:)

Nah, it doesn't bother me at all. I'm usually able to get my new growth really straight by rollersetting my hair so my newgrowth doesn't present much of a styling problem for me. As long as I keep my hair moisturized, I'm fine.

Nope!!! On the contrary, it's my relaxed ends that bother me... I can't wait til I have enough new growth to feel comfortable chopping!

I love my new growth. It signifies that I am making progress. I love the fact that it is growing in thicker than it was before. I love the fact that I haven't seen this much new growth in such a short time period "ever" before. I know its really unruly now but I can't stop measuring it and playing with it. I have braids now and I know I would hate to have to redo my braids every 4 weeks but that is a GOOD sign!!! The more wild new growth the better and the happier I will be!!!:D

I love seeing my new growth because it means my hair is growing longer!
I love the entire cycle of relaxing, hair care, maintenance and trims.
I like how my hair looks freshly relaxed and I like how I can do natural styles when the new growth starts comin in.

:)

when it's really time for me to get a tu and i have alot of new growth..it almost hurts..my scalp is more sensitive and itchy and tight

Sometimes. I love my newgrowth. I love to play in it. I love that at certain times, it makes my hair look fuller. It's a beautiful sign that my hair is growing. Sometimes I worry when I don't see my newgrowth soon enough. But when it's closer to tu time--oh boy. My hair is very thick, kinky and bushy and I can't style it at all exept to bun it. I can't even comb it.
