Does Anyone Still Use the Lunar Cycle to Trim???

I wonder how the days are affected if you are in a different part of the world. I am in Iraq right now. It the 17th here but I know that it is still the 16th in some parts of the world. Does anyone know what time zone these days are based on or whether I should trim on the next day since it would be 8 to 11 hours prior in the States????

I know I am getting way too deep into this, but I just wanna make sure I don't jack myself up!!!:lachen:

My mother wholeheartedly believes this and her hair grows super fast :look:. One rule of thumb she told me to go by was, in order for your hair to grow, trim/cut during a growing or waxing moon cycle-it has to be before the moon cycle reaches the full moon stage...or something like that :spinning:

Yep this is exactly what my mother says. I am going to start trying it.

So which one of these charts are correct? I'm kinda confused. I have a calendar too so I'm not sure if it's right either.

I do follow the Morrocco method for my touchups{root work days} and my trims. I have the OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC so I'll see which days coincide.

...

if hair (on average) grows about half an inch a month...
and most members here on LHCF taught themselves not to believe it when scissor happy stylists told them that trimming has any effect on hair growth...

then how is trimming my hair on certain days of the month going to affect my growth pattern?

just curious :look:

I remember this from years ago. I tried it a few times but have long given it up. Don't think I did it long enough to see any progress anyway.
