Do you think your hair is long?

I don't think my hair is long. But other people think I have pretty good length. Thanks to my scissor happy self, it is now back to collar bone length. But the funny thing is that when I see other people with the same length as me, I see their hair as long. what is this phenomenon and am I the only one suffering from it?
 
Probably cuz we cant look at the back our heads the way others do even when we look in the mirror. After looking on the forum i dont think my hair is long any more lol.

True, but now i am starting to wonder if I really even want my hair to grow as long as I initially did. hmmm.
 
I get the long hair comments. I don't feel that my hair is long. I feel it is a very nice length. I don't consider it long.

Seriously...before LHCF I would have thought my hair was long:lachen: APL? Shoot...that aint even close to me now.

I still can't believe the length I have. People are like...girl, your hair has grown...I'm like WHAT?? really?? I don't believe it until I see a pic of the back of my head:lachen:
 
I totally agree because when my hair was long (before my new cut) I always thought it was short but now that it IS short Im trying so hard to get it long again! lol :lachen:
 
No, but compared to the years before this board, its long and heathier.

The other people who think my hair is long usually a) dont have any at all or has very little hair b) or its jack'd up and breaking
 
I like the present length that I have, but I do not consider it long. I would really like my natural hair to reach APL, but I'm not sure if it will grow that way.
 
I don't think my hair is anywhere NEAR long. Like you, when I see people with the same length as me, their hair looks longer. Even APL looks longer than mine. Hair anorexia at its finest :perplexed
 
Heck naw!!! I won't consider my hair long until ALL of my hair is touching brastrap! Before LHCF, I thought anything past NL was long :rolleyes:

I know my hair is long but it doesn't feel long to me. Mostly because its always put away or shrunken.
 
I will not consider my hair long until it is fully waistlength stretched out or BSL shruken. Until then my hair journey continues!

Certainly not now after the unfortunate trim I got a few months back... but even before, i felt my hair was short at APL... I'm short in stature, so I know that I'd have to have hair to my butt before I would consider it long.
 
People always tell me my hair is long and it's past the shoulders but not quite APL yet! To answer the question, no, I don't think my hair is long at all.

Most of the people that I know think shoulder length is long..

Im the opposite. I couls see my length and think it was "long" and others may have the same length and unless its unusually thick and gorgeous, I wont consider it that. I dunno. I guess its cuz my hair has never been as long as it is now. but ANYWHO, onto the original question asked, No, I don't see my hair as long....YET:)

are you crazy!LOL! your hair is long! now my hair, well let's just say i have a long way to go before i can even claim to think about the term "long hair"! LOL!
 
I don't consider my hair long now however when my hair was super short I would have thought my length was SUPER long!:lachen:

Now I am totally unaffected by my hair length.:ohwell:
 
Nope I sure dont. even before joining this forum I really didnt think shoulder length hair or a few inches longer than that was "long" either.
 
This site will give a LOT of women serious hair anorexia.

Because I live in a place where style is most important over health, there are a lot of bald-headed women with great weaves or long hair that won't go past APL because they keep it down and don't protect their ends. Therefore, anything APL and lower is long to me.

My hair, of course, isn't long.
