I like the oils. The creamy stuff, makes my hair revert. My daughter has 3a hair and I use the creamy on her. It has water in it, which lays her hair down.

I use creamy conditioners. When you say "Oil moisturizers" do you mean something like a hot oil??

i basically mean just oils with your hair spritzed first so that the oil will hold in moisture as opposed to the creamy stuff with water and oil and a bunch of other ingredients.
I like creamy moisturizers I tink mainly because this was what I was introduced to upon relaxing my hair initial but I am willing to give oils a try if any one could provide me with info on how to use the oils to moisturize my hair, but I never oil my scap as this causes my hair to feel whayed done and breaks off from the roots so I avoid using oils this way
I use a small amount of creamy moisturizer (Headdress) to smooth my wrap befor tying it down. I use Headress or distilled water with oil on top for my ends. I use straight oil (WGO or coconut) on my new growth before rollersetting.
I have to agree with melodee. Creamy oil moisturizers revert my hair. My preference is, like the prior post, misting my hair first with distilled water, and add a little of the natural oil mix to soften and moisturize. I don't use a lot, only for putting it up in a bun or ponytail. Toodles.
