Just wondering. Do you think that's appropriate/inappropriate? Do you consider it invasive? When does google searching go to far? Do any of you do background checks?
I went further, Lexis Nexis search and pulled property records. He was legit but still a jerk. No, I don't regret it.
This is crazy. A PI? If I ever found out that my man hired someone to check me out I'd dump him before he had a chance to explain. Now if he googles me I'd commend him for doing his research.I Google everyone whom I have a first and last name. If I were dating someone seriously I'd go get a pi or whatever. Crazy people abound.

I googled this guy I met and I found out everything I need to know.
Definitely. Google their e-mail address and any screen names you know they use. I've found all sorts of goodies. One guy was on an adult breastfeeding site, another had a house in the hood smaller than my kitchen (which wasn't TOO much of a problem except for the fact that he shared it with his wife), one guy had 2 domestic violence charges, and the WHOPPER was the guy who was directly off of Cell Block B with a rape charge against his girlfriend's 9-year old SON. I logged off of online dating and haven't returned. I've also run across people who have NO ONLINE TRAIL WHATSOEVER. They are bogus as well. Everyone has SOMEthing online. With all of these resources at our fingertips, it's almost neglectful to not at least TRY to see who you're talking to. Peoplefinders, Spokeo, State Criminal Records, etc... Something should come up.
Hmm I have log ins for both Lexis Nexis and Westlaw. Maybe I will start doing that.
Anyone ever find themselves online with criminal background?
