The only time I don't tip a stylist is if I'm not happy with the result. I always used to tip regardless but felt I needed to be honest with myself as well as the stylist , I feel unable to pay extra for something I'm not happy with. Now I'm a lot more vocal about what I like or what my hair needs and I'm willing put my money where my mouth is.
