I'm sad cuz it's practically the only staple shampoo that I've been consistently using for years and I love it and like alot of other products of theirs, they're up and discontinuing it

Any suggestions for a replacement??

Oh no! I swear, EVERY time I find a product I love it gets discontinued. Why? :wallbash:

I hope Aveda is replacing it with something else.

Are you using the Detox as a clarifier? If so, my recommendation is Christophe's SLS-free clarifying shampoo. You can get it as CVS Pharmacy. It is the gentlest shampoo I've ever used of it's kind. HTH.

How did I miss this thread? I went to Aveda today looking for it . Ugh!

ETA: Ladies you can stll purchase this on Aveda's website .

Abba Pure Detox is the most drying, harsh, stripping shampoo I've ever used. Immediately upon touching my hair, my hair turned into STRAW. And I'm not exaggerating one bit. I lost a lot of hair that day because my hair was thrown so out of whack, and it took a lot of deep conditioning to get my hair back. I'll never use it again.

It sounds great and has good ingredients, but I strongly advise against anyone using it. It's just that bad.
