Dipping ends in jbco?

Took down my Senegalese twist in the center of my hair, combed it out, and braided it. I'm going to leave the rest of the twists in and take it down later in the week. Will it be bad if I dip the braid in jbco or will it matt and cause problems when it is time to wash? I haven't have a perm in almost 5 months.

I'm dipping my Celie ends in regular castor oil. No problems with it.

I do it all the time! Works great for ends - especially if I spritz them with a water-based mixture beforehand.
