Sorry we can't help you without pictures.

Did a doctor ever do a check up on you without seeing you?

Nah girl we doctors up in here and we cant help the patient without at least a picture.

Yup! DO I hear an Amen?

25 years natural, wow! And now a texutrizer, I can't believe this! But your hair sounds sooo pretty. I would love to see before and after pictures.

3 months and another go over sounds good. Try Mizani sensitive scalp. You and I have relatively the same hair type and when I went over affirm mild fiberguard with Mizani sensitive scalp I was expecting straight hair but I got nice curls. Good luck!! And I want to see pics too.

I admitt I was a bit upset after I had it done, I suppose its just because I was use to my natural textue, I don't regret my decision.

And that's the important thing!

Girl, I can't wait to see your photos, whenever you're ready to show them!
I'm sure it's beautiful!
Can't wait 'til I do mine!

Lucia its only a little less shrinkage, that's why I want it straighter not bone straight I don't want to cause damage. My family like my new style its very wavy, curly with some frizz though.

Congrats den1 on your new look. I'm sure your hair looks FABULOUS. I must say I was surprised when I read the title of this thread. I was just talking about your natural hair to one of my hairboard buddies two days ago. Your natural hair is Awesome, and I'm sure your texturized hair is just as beautiful, either way, your hair is stunning. I must say I can't wait to see those pics in three months. keep us updated.

wow girl- you are a hair guru- (you've inspired me when i was hovering)- im sure youll find out the best for your hair, which is probably still absolutley beautiful. good luck!

i den1 well done with the new hair style!

pls let me know which salon exactly you went to and who your stylist was. thanks

Hoi Den1, I can not see your pics.....according to Snapfish: "The page you requested doesn't exist".

I have my 4a/4b hair 80% straight, is that the same as using a texturiser?

Cheers
Sherynella

I would really like to see the progress of your hair. I have seen your pictures on growingafrohairlong.com and was very impressed!!!! When I click on your link it asks for ID and password. Is there any way I can see the pics ?

Den1's Update: on texturizer three weeks ago.

First of all I must tell you that I did something really stupid, over the two months that I was treating my hair before the chemical application I trimmed away my ends and lost all my new growth.

I wanted to ensure that my hair was healthy enough. Now my hair is still only just above waist when stretched (I still have tons of shrinkage my stylist left the relaxer on 4-5 minutes including application).

Despite my scissor happy stupidity, my hair is doing so well

I've noticed regrowth already, but I'm not sure how to comb the roots, my hair has gotten even thicker, I look like Diana Ross now LOL.

I received lovely compliments on my hair and how wavy and natural it looks, this gives me an excuse to feel better about my decision to use a chemical after 25 years of being natural.

I'm in the process of building new albums and a new site, be patient I will certainly let everyone know when I have completed them.

Btw the way I need some suggestions on routines and good products, please help sister Den1
