Hello Ladies,

I am new to LHC and I have been searching for answers but I havent found what I am looking for.

So I have been transitioning for about 1 year 4 months if not longer. I love being natural but it is really difficult for me to take care of it. I am not really sure what hair type I am, but my nape has coils and everywhere else is really wavy. I love it when it's wet but i havent mastered a way to wear it with the same wavy pattern dry(without it getting puffy). So I have decided to texturize it, so i can have more options with styles without wearing ponytails, conrows, or kinky twists.

So now I am needing help in finding the best texturizer, because I dont want to use one that is too strong.

Thank you in advance for your tip/ help. :locks:

it sounds like you arent fully natural yet IMO

It may be ifficult because you have two different textures going on: the relaxed hair and the natural hair

Why not try two strand twist or braid outs. YT has many many many tutorials

If you want to try a texturizer how about just using a mild relaxer, it will reduce the bulk and make it easier to style

I've done braid outs, but they don't really last very long. I really don't have a lot of old relaxed hair left. I think once I get a trim they will pretty much be gone.

So do u think a tex-lax would be better?
