DC with moisture or protein?

I had surgery a three weeks ago and have not washed my hair. I am going to wash and DC today and am not sure what to use to deep condition. My hair has been doing fine after the surgery but I have just the daily shedding due to manipulation and not taking any supplements. So my question is what should I use to DC with to maybe add strength back to my hair after the hiatus.

List of DCs I have:

Mega tek
Alter ego
Nexxus humectress conditioner
Hair mayo
CON Argan oil conditioner

Well when I wash i use a light protein and then a DC.

You should use Aubrey Organics GPB (AOGPB), its the best deep conditioner out there. The ones on your list (that I'm familiar with) are too weak.

I'm glad you are recovering from your surgery! Hair is not as important as your overall health.

Sorry OP, I'm not familiar with your conditioners, but I would mix a protein with a moisturizing conditioner.

Yes, but to be fair, I haven't tried all the conditioners on your list (like Megatek).

Megatek is a strong protein conditioner. I believe the second ingredient is protein, but I don't feel like getting my bottle. If I wanted protein and moisture, I'd mix it with the humectress and DC with that so I didn't have to follow up with a moisturizing conditioner.
