Well, I decided to buy this stuff and see what the hype was all about. If you live in the metroplex, you can buy it in Denton at the Albertson's on University drive. I just bought it last night for $2.99 It better work! Why didn't anyone tell me it smelled like Frenchee's? I guess that's a sign that it will work.

Hey I go to school in Denton and picked some up last month. I only used it once because I couldn't stomach the smell. I hear it works really well so I'm gonna try it again mixed with some essential oils to cover the smell. Do you use it straight?

I use it straight. I don't mix it with any essential oils or anything. Since I have a sewn-in weave right now, the smell isn't really that strong to me coming from my hair. I put the oil on the partings and massage it in, then I use s-curl on the cornrows and oil sheen all over the hair to give it a nice sheen. I've only been using this for about nearly a month, so I can't really tell what kind of growth I've gotten from it.

Yup This is where I got my MTG. But I got mine for 7.99, not 2.99. Was the MTG on clearance or something?

No, it wasn't on clearance. Perhaps I got the wrong bottle, but it clearly said that it was made by Shapley's and said M-T-G clear across the label. I noticed that the bottle looked different from the one shown on their site. I'm going to look at it again today.
