It Works So Well But It Smells So Gawd Awful!

Well I was gonna say Amla oil because it smells like old lady perfume but you said no, hmmmm.

As far as stinky products I can't deal at all. I will not use them because the smell will annoy the crap out of me.

Amla oil is one of the smelliest things I own. I took one whiff and knew it would never touch my head. I'm not even sure if i can pre-poo with it but imma try.

If I had to guess...I would go with Silicon Mix - it was has that lingering, loud, old-timey, perfumey (not a word) smell

I still smell it in DD's hair after using it over a week ago....

Since you said it's sold at JCPenney, Walmart so it can't be my beloved GPB or most of the other organic stuff and oils.
My guess is Joico Kpak, it smells like bananas to me but maybe in your hair it comes off different?

ETA: Okay....Went back an tried to re-read the entire post.:look:

*btw: I still use and love emergencee. It works Great. I can handle 'the smell' for the amount of time it is left on the hair*

can we get a hint atleast is it an oil or a conditioner
im guessing its from the aphogee line.................

Okay i think the clues are stacking up better now. If it's sold in a chain like JC Penney I am gonna guess its from a product line or something like Keracare etc.

I am gonna shoot for one of the Keracare finishing lotions or finishing oils....

ETA: or Chi Keratin mist

Maybe Ojon, restorative treatment. It smells like ashes and maybe that can be associated with old ladies.

so I thot it was Mizani Nighttime treatment so on to the next clue.... what is old lady smell exactly? (oooh I'm not sure I want the answer to this )

Going back and reading the OP, I'm going to change my vote and say something from the mizani line...it's def. a salon brand I'm guessing...there aren't many hairdressers that would promote ayurvedic oils or other oils....

OOOOOOOOOoohhhh is it profective!! That ish is smelly. I bought some one time and just could not get over the smell

This thread is starting to make me mad. Who is that one poster who constantly starts threads and leaves us hanging for days?

She said it doesn't smell bad in the container - just on her hair so I'm guessing that it was a bad combination of products. Either way, I say just use it as a treatment instead of a leave in.

Oh and  at this thread
