yeah, I am leaning towards it. yes, indeed. Don't know about that smell though.

Heck, with the horsie stuff and the kinky-curly products...I might just be a natural gal by the end of the summer!

I am going to start looking for inexpensive, but nice looking wigs. I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I want it to look nice. I wonder if that smell will be difficult to shampoo out of my wig??

Alright, the cream I use is not a cream but a conditioner, equine style. Mega-Tek's Coat Rebuilder. I use it on my hair and nail, hair 3 x's a week, nails - daily.

I love the conditioner, it's da bomb on my hair and nails! :yep:

I need to see my psychotherapist...the peer pressure became more than I could bear!

Trust me, before I dropped that much on one bottle, I did some research and was very encouraged by what I saw.

Actually, it was my mother who mentioned a horse product she saw on TV a few years ago that talked about hair growth, that got me looking and I found Mega-Tek.

The formulation for the Pet, Equine and Human product is all the same.

I wouldn't be quick to discount this one... :lachen: Then again, that would mean more for me and my mom! :look:
 
Yea, so I got mine today too. I broke down and just HAD to order it. The smell is kind of "Mesquite-ish" My sis says the packaging looks like a Mojo jar and I shouild be ready to throw some ribs on the grill!

I've had a MAJOR hair mis-hap this week,so I'm hoping that this will set me back on track. Wish me luck!

PS: I guess that I got "in" right on time as far as the ordering went, huh?
 
:lol: I ordered from arcaros on Saturday.... :lachen: sad but true. I read all the post about MTG, because there seems to be alot of them lately. I told myself I was not going to buy this product. I am not going to do it...But dang it i did it, I caved... :spank: :cry: Not only am I wearing horses hair,but now I am using their products :bud:

It really does sound like it would be good for the hair. The horsegroomers site or whatever it was, that someone else posted a couple of pages ago mentioned that their products can be used for people too. I think I will ease into the pet products slowly.... :lol: Gotta get that wig first. :look:

Ditto! Ive been sucked in too! I had some damaged ends I was trying to cut off and got a little happy with the scissors and ended up JACKING up the back! it looks kinda like a mullet! gotta grow that hair cut out ASAP!
Im gonna be sporting phony ponies and instant weaves for the summer and hopefully come fall it will look decent again!

Now I'm all tempted to try it! I used Mane n Tail a while back and it made my hair real thick.... it grew alot but I think it was because I was washing my hair every other day (in college I used alot of spritz and hairsprays... I'd condition first then wash and condition again). I'm trying hard not to try this until I hear back from you guys about how well it works... :look:

OMG I nearly had a heart attack, I picked up my MTG this afternoon and on the bus on the way to work I put a little on my hand to test the smell and how it would smell a few hours later. My colleague just pipes up "Who's eating Frankurters" OMG I just froze. She sits on the other side, I was like this is just one little droplet how in the hell is it going to smell when it's in my hair? Then my other colleague says oh it's Richard he's eating smoky bacon potatoe chips! :lachen: Talk abut a huge case of paranoia. The smell has now faded to nothing BTW ladies so apply at night and pray that you don't smell like sausage in the morning.

My hubby is gonna hate me for a couple of months! I better put it on right before I go to sleep!
 
Is there a fragrance oil or essential oil that you can mix with it to make the smell better? What about coconut oil or one of the fragrance oils from FNWL?
 
The smell doesnt bother me but I will say that it is pretty strong and I think the only thing that will mask it is time. Which is why I apply at night. I havent had any "whose been eatin bacon" comments so I guess this method is working. :D You could probably try some fragance oils but whatever would have to be pretty powerful to mask that smell. I dont think coconut oil would be enuf..

WHat is FNWL?? I went to the health store to ask them what EO would cover up a Sulfur like smell! SHE DIDN"T KNOW! So I am still walking around with the funky head!!!!!:mad:
