And it is definately a revolution...... I apologize if somone has already posted pics. I did a search and found one thread with a lot of curiosity. So I tried them. First of all it's real easy, not going to insult anyone with a step by step method of instruction. But I will say it did not cause a lot of tension or manipulation because I didn't put them to close to my scalp. I started of with damp hair, mixed with LTR leave in and a little Shea Butter DMHL. Parted my hair in secions and began to roll. By time I finished with the last curl, the back curls were already dry. So having said that, if you are on a no heat challenge it will work. I sat under the dryer to dry the rest. So if your relaxed and you like the wild natural look with more curl and definition then a braid or twist out, or if your transitioning and trying to blend the two textures and tired of roller sets, I really think you would like these. I am 4b relaxed and 7 weeks post. If you have any additional question please don't hesitate to ask. HTH:grin:

Oh, the first pic is the front w/the rollers, the second 2 are the front and back before I wild them out (a more conservative look), and the third 2 are the curls finger comded and spaced apart.

They sell them at Sally's. There was a thread a while back about them. I don't know how to post it. Still learning!

I love 'em too. Thery're real easy to do. They sell a plastic hook almost like a crochet (sp) hook , you slide it throught the roller (it's 2 ply) Take a section or your hair, put it in the hook and gently pull pull it through the roller. Sounds hard but it's not.

I've seen these several times in Sally's and wondered what in the world they were for. I knew it was some type of style, but I just didn't see myself learning it.

This will be my next major purchase once I'm done with my wig challenge.

Thanks.

i've never seen these before...and i'm always in sallys. i hope they have em in my store...thanks for posting...u have great hair!

Your hair turned out great:grin:. I was wondering how many packages of curlformers did it take you or did you buy the kit? I was one of the ladies very interested in this product. I am so glad you tried it and had positive results.

wow your hair came out cute! I always wondered how the curls REALLY came out using those "rollers". lol

Hey, kellylinn! I bought these too awhile back but I haven't used them yet... I was wondering how many packs you need to cover your head and how wet your hair was when you rolled it? I really need to try these out!

Thanks froggie08 . I didn't buy the kit. I bought 2 packs of the long 1's and 2 packs of the short 1's. I used both packs of the long 1's and 1 1/2 of the short 1's

your hair is beautiful kellylinn!

i would love to try these out when my hair gets a little longer. :yep: has anyone with natural or texlaxed hair ever tried them? what results did you get? (if the curls come out just as nice on natural or texlaxed, i am most def. all over these!)

Hi metalkitty! I used 2 packs of long 1's and 1 1/2 packs of short 1's. My hair was damp about 75%. I tried a couple of pieces of dry hair with serum and it worked well also. So your hair doesn't even need to be wet. It'll just take more time to form the curls HTH

Oohhh your hair came out great!!! Love the look on you. I've seen them too in Sally's when I got my ORS Replenishing conditioner. I didn't see those colors though, the ones I seen were pink and yellow. There must be different sizes for them I guess.

Yeah, finally someone on this board tried these- I've been eyeing them at Sally's!
Kellylinn, your hair looks so wonderful with the curls and without :yep:.

Thanks for posting your pics and sharing this info too!

You know what Isis77, i think it will work on natural or texlaxed if you straighten it out 1st and apply some serum. Thanks for the compliment!

I'm thinking the tension would not be tight enough to tame the roots. But, I don't know- maybe you can pull as tight as you need it.

You did a really nice job. Would these work for hair that's past bra strap length? Are you sure its easy?
