What a good idea of the braids! I like the size and curl of yours too!

I've been thinking of doing that but I may wait until summer since it will be hot and my scalp will need the cooling off.

Happy co-washing!

I wasn't sure that I would like it, but I love the curls that you get with cowashing daily, as well as the shine. Even after week 3, people still compliment the style. The cowashing really helps to keep it looking good eventhough its fuzzy.

Cowashed this morning with Giovanni Wellness conditioner. Moisturized with Beautiful curls shea butter leave-in and sealed with Jane Carter Nourish and shine.

The first pic is after I co-washed with my Tresemme Curl Hydration conditioner/water/EVOO mix and moisturized with my leave-in/EVOO/water spray last night.

The second and third pics are after I sprayed my hair with the leave in mix this afternoon.

It's been 3 weeks since I cleared my hair out with a tool so I did so last night on wet hair with leave in and a pic then co-washed with my Tresemme mix.

My hair feels fluffier since clearing it out.

Hey, any of you ladies live in New York on this challenge? Do you co wash at night or brave the cold air? I'm too scared to try it, though co washing helped my hair thrive in the warmer weather.:ohwell:

Washed last night with liquid black soap, co-washed with the Tresemme conditioner mix, pH balanced with aloe vera juice and water spray, and moisturized with leave-in/water/EVOO mix spray.

Liquid black soap is not stripping at all and really helps in the co-wash part. :)

I am living in the ATL by way of NY (that's where I am originally from :).

It gets pretty cold down here and since it does I co-wash at night.

My roots are usually still a bit damp in the morning but by the time I spray and slightly re-wet the surface of my fro, it is pretty dry by the time I walk out of the door.

I spend more time either indoors or in my van anyways so I'm not out in the cold too much.

I co-washed yesterday with As I Am Naturally Coconut CoWash and loved it. It was my first time trying it but it cleansed my hair really well, didn't leave it feeling stripped and made it easier to detangle my hair. The smell is wonderful as well

DDTexlaxed I'm not in NY but I'm in DC and we pretty much get the same weather. I cowash daily in the morning. I don't like going to bed with wet hair. Its too uncomfortable sleeping with a towel on my head. I wear a bonnet under my hat and if its really wet i wear a platic cap under the bonnet. I drive to work so I'm only in the cold air for a few minutes, to and from the car.

I am in Canada at the moment. I co-wash in the morning after a workout and walk out with wet hair. My hair is so dense, I never feel the cold air on my scalp, ever. My hair can function as my hat .
