I finally got the maxiglide to work after much stress and trying times. I blowdried my hair with the Revlon Hot Air Brush (thanks Black Cardinal for the recommendation). I followed up a day later with the Maxiglide. My first attempt was not very good because I didn't use the steam option or a curl wax. I had big puffy hair. I use Biolage's heat protectant and Elasta QP Curl Wax.
Special thanks go out to everyone that has supported me in my natural hair journey, sent me a pm with suggestions on caring for my natural hair/ questions asking me for advice (I was very flattered) or just gave me an encouraging compliment. I have enjoyed too many natural albums to personally thank all of you. Please note I do enjoy all the pictures.
Miss Brown for encouraging me in the early stages of my transition to keep on the path to Natural hair.
Ms. Kenesha- for orginally being my Guiena Pig. I watched her chop off beautiful long hair and she worked the heck out of her natural hair. Seeing someone personally go through the transition was encourgaement for me stepping out there.
Black Cardinal- For always providing good advice and I love your album
Southerngal- I said If I ever wore my hair straight again, I would rock that headband shot that Southerngal has done so well. I even tried to channel my inner Southern gal with my picture with my bang covering my eye like she does.
Netta and Bubbling- I always love looking at your albums. Bub- I have a love hate relationship with your hair. I love it and hate that my hair won’t grow long naturally like yours does.
Ayeshia and Soso1913- I love looking at your new updated pictures. You are my natural hair models.
Sylver- I know, I know I am inpatient. I blame you for always sporting nice straight hair which caused me to run out and buy that Maxiglide.
