Cosmetology Books

I know most of the people on the boards are into learning how to take care of and style their own hair.

I just wanted to know if you bought any books that Cosmetology students would buy to teach them the proper techniques of styling hair? or Books by other people that you believe has helped in you in reaching your goals of healthy hair.

If so which books?

No I have not bought them. I would not recommend it unless you want to learn everything. I checked them out from the local library and I borrowed them from former Cosmetology students. The info on relaxing in the Milady books is interesting it actually does mention not overlapping. It makes me wonder if stylists forget how to read after they graduate.
