Just curious to know if they are nice places to meet new people, and guys? If not where would you think is a better place?

I think it would be nice places. I cant really speak from experience. But at least they are alot better than bars and clubs.

Me too! Some became bfs..some became bfs..and transormed to just really good life long friends. The poetry community draws a lot of sensitive expressive types...
