I just did a green tea rinse on saturday and already I'm seeing the effects of it. I hardly shed any hair while doing my hair.
Does anyone rinse the coffee out? Did leaving the coffee in without rinsing cause dryness for anyone?
tell me more what kind of GT and what else did you mix with it?
YES! thank you for bringing that up, Freesia!
that happened to me, too! i had to get back in the shower and do a dc and an oil rinse to get my hair back to "normal".
if there are those of you who don't have this issue, please share how you use it?
is it that you're using coffee/tea that is diluted?
do you all put honey in it, too?
how many cups are you using to rinse?
i don't know, but Fressia, maybe we've got to change our technique...
thanks ladies!
For those who don't rinse the coffee out, does it stain your pillowcases when you go to sleep or anything? I do want to try leaving it in but I sleep with my hair damp quite a bit due to washing late (usually too busy during the day). I'm worried I'll wake up with brown stains everywhere.
Is anyone doing this as a transitioner? I am interested but am wondering what experiences other transitioners have had.

do you all put honey in it, too? straight coffee, no honey, maybe horsetail or nettle tea
how many cups are you using to rinse? I brew an entire pot, and pour it into old shampoo bottles, refrigerate until ready to use. Sometimes I use an entire 16 oz bottle as a rinse.
