Coddled Grown-butt Black Males

Forget Black women coddling their sons when the father isn't around. What about folks coddling their male siblings and overlooking the fact that they don't make good decisions in life? Rather than not supporting their shenanigans, they reach to the women in their lives and charge them as whores, screw-ups, worthless, stupid. I don't get it because I was trained to be an equal opportunity accuser. I smell poo, then there must be poo around. You don't get a break because you are a male, neither female, family, friend. Why get on the "loose" women who got with your male relatives and it's your male relative who is equally screwed in the head??? He got shot down with his game and the tables have turned. Face the music.

This doesn't make for good overall family relationships. People have become enablers in that type of co-dependant family structure. So charge the women as whores but if your male family is having kids oow, screwing on the side with different chicks outside his marriage, quitting jobs right and left and being financially irresponsible, then CHARGE THEM! Don't enable anymore. What message does that send out? It's okay for men to be a$$holes. It's not okay for a woman to be an equal a$$hole. And believe this, some of the crap they are telling their families, don't believe it. Would you believe that if it were a non-family member person playing jeddhi mind tricks? Hellz no. Stop coddling those uncles, brothers, fathers, cousins in your life acting like a gee dee fool!

Not necessarily coddling my brother, but I told him he isnt the type of man that I would date and he is a bad boyfriend. He was actually offended.

THIS is why I don't speak to my brothers. At least the ones that are still living. Oldest brother has been a journeyman electrician forever but doesn't have a pot to piss in. At least he doesn't have a ton of kids. The other one has been in and out of jail all of his life and has at least 3 kids with 2 different women. He still lives with our aunt and has never been able to keep a job.

My youngest bro has schizo-effective disorder so he get's a pass. As a matter of fact, my youngest brother has been more responsible than the other 2 combined. (damn shame)

The decent brother was a state policeman before he gave mom a kidney and later got cancer himself. He had 1 wife and 3 children within that marriage...

I don't let them get away with ANYTHING!!! As I remember, they kinda cut me off because if was too hard on them...

And I STAY on my son's behind. As a matter of fact, he's coming over this weekend to redo his household budget... And since he's got the foresight to do this (he's anticipating school in the fall) Ma dukes is taking him to dinner and a movie tonight!!

This post reminds me of Dr. Laura. I was listening to her one day and she was GOING OFF on some guy who had brought his girlfriend to live up in his house with his PARENTS. And, didn't want to get married to her and he was pizzed that she keeps pressing marriage. Dr. Laura told him that she was an unpaid prostitute and that his PARENTS should be ashamed for endorsing/supporting such foolishness under their roof. She tore him a new one. Anyway, I totally agree.

Let's just say my brother nor his girlfriend would ever make it past the front door of my parents place ; my parents don't support crap like that
