Looks awesome! And your hair is gorgeous!

Also, idk about in the US but you can get plenty of jobs with hair like that over here. The colour? Maybe not, but only because it's too attention-grabbing (love it btw) but the cut? I don't see anything wrong with it.

In fact, many of the people in my office are alternative people: colourful hair, lots of tatts and piercings (I'm not saying you are, OP, just giving examples). Heck, I've seen dudes in shirts and ties and suits in other jobs that have their sleeves rolled up in the summer and you can see their tattoo sleeves poking out!

suntongs,
Very pretty hair (both before and after)!! It looks good on you all around:up:.
Slightly OT: Some man made rules were meant to be broken. Should you desire to embark on a career in business, find and edgier company to work for (think Google) or better yet, start preparing now and start your own company where you create the rules:yep:. I am the mother of an art student and yes the whole campus and student body are collectively 'different' than students at a more traditional college. Different does not = bad in my book though. My DD has always been a 'free spirit'. God showed me that pretty early and I encouraged her all the way. Can't wait to see what look you try out next! ;)

Sheena284 This is a good point - I have a corporate job and everyone thought it was a cute haircut. Well to my face...after I cut it my managing director was like, "Oh I like this so much better than that 80s thing." Lol!

I'm going to be honest. I don't think it looks good. I know you did it yourself, but it looks like it. I know a lot of the ladies on LHCF don't even go to salons, but certain things are better left to the professionals. I think a professional would've made it look cleaner and more precise.

She probably wasn't going for precision.
When she had color, it wasn't in a "traditional" spot so why would she cut her hair any differently?
Maybe a professional would have made it such but the way she cut it is unique to her, and as it's been shown in this thread, doesn't look like it's emulating anyone else since no one could really tell it was the "Rihanna" cut.
I'd take unique, creative, asymmetrical, etc over perfect copycat any day but that's just my opinion.

thank you, whoever liked it.
sorry someone was mad enough to post it on some other forum that i only heard of in a PM this morning.

Are you serious? Wow. Some people's young-uns.

Anyways, I really liked it. It was unique and I actually thought it was really pretty. :yep:

Now you have me thinking of the color, it reminded me of a flaming Starburst...I swear I would love to dye an underlayer of my hair neon pink when it gets longer...

I can't believe someone posted this on another forum/or talk about it. If they didn't like it that's cool. I never saw it but I am sure it was fierce! I have a son that is creative and we are all unique and our own way. I love the confidence and pizazz you have. Keep doing you. In the end the only thing that matters is that you like it.

It's unsafe to post your pic on the world wide web period. Ladies any of your pictures can be stolen for whatever reason. Pictures of you, your family, dog, cat, and ect. Just a FYI.

I swear, some people are so f*cking sad and need to get a life. And Yes, I'm talking to YOU, whoever you are, that posted her pics elsewhere.
