I used to use this before I came on to the boards. I had a stylist cut my hair instead of a simply trim like I asked for :mad: so I started researching things on how to grow my hair and asked all my friends what they thought would help and they gave me a list of products and oils and this was one of them. I used that exact kind with a bunch of other oils and my hair was stronger and grew. This was like a blast from the past. Have to try this again. :) God bless you all.

Anyone still using cinnamon oil on their scalp for growth stimulation? I know cinnamon itself is good for lightening hair color naturally. I may consider doing that and continue with henna and indigo and see what happens to my hair color. I am busy compiling recipes to try out while I'm still stretching my relaxer:yep:.

This worked on my MIL's hair. I got her jojoba oil and cinnamon eo to use and it thickened up her hair like crazy and she had all of this NG.

Okay then I'll add cinnamon oil to my list of EOs when I put in my order at the end of the month:yep:. Thanks Empressri.

how are you who are using it, applying it? to the roots only?

hypek you should add a few drops of it to a carrier oil before putting it on your scalp and massage it in for a few minutes as with any other essential oils.

Now I hear that cinnamon powder can change/lighten the color of the hair naturally for those who do not want to use bleach, etc. It will take time though I heard. I have to go hunting for the recipe just in case I want to lift my hair color in the future.

This is the one that I saw in Manuella's II when I was in there. Any baltimore ladies looking for this and it's there in great supply.

Do you know if cinnamon oil is the only ingredient in this one? I have found two that have mineral oil and alcohol in them but not one with just cinnamon oil.

Do you walk around smelling like delicious cinnamon rolls or a sock it to me cake? I've got a sweet tooth today.:lachen:

Is the smell noticeable?

I haven't bought it yet Yellowflowers, but Empressri has and maybe she can chime in on this one.

I just hit up texasnaturalsupply.com for some cassia along with lavender, jojoba, wheat germ, eucalyptus, and tea tree oils, a little syringe to place it in a plastic bottle, and a plastic bottle. I like iherb but I don't trust them with my essential oils. Anyway I'm gonna do what ya'll suggested and combine it with the jojoba and see what happens.

I used a Dominican Cinnamon Oil::burning::burning::burning:

*i shoulda' read the instructions.:look:

It took weeks to get my scalp 'right'

Will re-visit it and mix it in my Cinnamon & Sole Conditioner:ohwell:
